As a result, you’ll reduce your energy bills and carbon footprint.

ecoTEC Plus Combi Technology and Main Advantages

Vaillant’s ecoTEC Plus Combi features a special flame detection system for more efficient and quieter combustion, as well as built-in two-stage frost protection to minimise the risk of frost damage. It comes with a fantastic modulation of up to 1:6, meaning it can modulate itself down when it knows you need less power to improve boiler efficiency and reduce energy consumption levels.

The range includes five output sizes with different maximum hot water flow rates, which are as follows:

    • ecoTEC Plus 825 25kW Combi – 10.5 litres per minute
    • ecoTEC Plus 832 32kW Combi – 13.0 litres per minute
    • ecoTEC Plus 835 35kW Combi – 14.3 litres per minute

Other key features include a stainless steel heat exchanger and a step by step wizard to make installation and boiler setup quicker and easier.

Furthermore, this boiler is compatible with Vaillant’s aroTHERM air to water heat pump hybrid system, which helps to cut your heating bills and maximise heating potential by using the most efficient energy resources.

Is the Vaillant ecoTEC Plus Combi the Right Boiler Type and Size for Your Home?

Aimed for use in small, medium and large homes, the ecoTEC Plus Combi heats water directly from the mains and utilises the mains water pressure to supply your property with plenty of water. With this in mind, you must never choose a combi that is too small or too big for the size of your home to avoid being stuck with a boiler that can’t deal with your requirements and to prevent paying more than necessary to generate enough water.

As a rough guide, the 24kW model is best suited to small 2 bedroom properties with 1 bathroom. The 32kW and 35kW versions should be able to comfortably heat a medium-sized 3 to 4 bedroom house with a maximum of 2 bathrooms. And whilst there are two 38kW offerings in the range ideal for large dwellings, the slightly more powerful ecoTEC Plus 38kW is designed especially for larger homes with a higher hot water demand.

Like we always say, you must consult with a Gas Safe engineer over your heating and hot water needs to ensure you pick the correct boiler type and output for your home.
