Lightweight and compact, the unit measures 700mm (H) x 395mm (W) x 300mm (D) and can be kept in a 300mm deep kitchen cupboard.

The 100 Combi LPG comes with a 2-year warranty and is available in two heat outputs of 24kW and 28kW, with prices ranging between around £608.40 and £778.80.

    Boiler Energy Efficiency Credentials

Easy to install and maintain, the Baxi 100 Combi is an Energy Saving Trust recommended boiler that will not only reduce the cost of your heating bills but also cut installations costs. With a seasonal efficiency of 89.1%, this model boasts an A efficiency rating and Class 5 NOx rating, making it environmentally friendly as well. The boiler can also be used with a uSense room thermostat that allows you to control your heating via a smartphone and always see how much energy you’re using.

100 Combi LPG Technology and Main Advantages

With governments challenged to reduce carbon dioxide levels, Baxi has designed the 100 Combi LPG to help you reduce your carbon footprint. The boiler is simple yet reliable and comes with wall mounted brackets and extensive flue options to allow the boiler to be fitted into almost any property in the UK.

The range includes two output sizes with different maximum hot water flow rates, which are as follows:

    • 100 24kW LPG Combi – 9.8 litres per minute
    • 100 28kW LPG Combi – 11.5 litres per minute

In keeping with other models in the Baxi range, the 100 Combi LPG features a front access panel for easy servicing, along with a dial that enables you to easily adjust heating settings. As the boiler is LPG ready, a conversion kit is not needed if you live in an off-grid home.

Is the Baxi 100 Combi LPG the Right Boiler Type and Size for Your Home?

Before installing a replacement boiler, it is important that you buy a unit that is suitable for your home. If you buy a boiler that is too powerful, you will use too much energy, heat your home to temperatures that are uncomfortable and waste money on your gas bill. With this in mind, we suggest you always ask a Gas Safe engineer which make and model they recommend.

In the meantime, we have provided you with some information about the suitability of the Baxi 100 Combi LPG. The Baxi 100 Combi LPG is a combination boiler, meaning it doesn’t require any additional tanks or a separate hot water cylinder. As a general guide, the 24kW unit is ideal for an apartment or small property with 1 bathroom and up to 10 radiators. There is also a 28kW version, which is best suited to a small to medium-sized home with 1 bathroom, 1 ensuite and up to 15 radiators.

Our Honest Opinion of the Baxi 100 Combi LPG

The Baxi 100 Combi LPG may not be the most powerful boiler on the market, but it’s certainly a good option for homeowners with small houses. Considering the high-quality build and advanced components, this combination boiler with its affordable price tag is a steal.

The only doubt we have is that Baxi has only given the boiler a 2-year warranty, which indicates the brand does not have as much confidence in its lower-end range as its premium offerings that typically come with a 7-10 year warranty. That’s a big difference!

Advice on Boiler Quotes and Gas Safe Engineers

If your engineer recommends the Baxi 100 Combi LPG for your home, you’ll need to obtain at least three quotes so that you can compare prices. When shopping around, we suggest you liaise with local and national companies to find the best price on both the boiler and installation. You must also make sure your chosen installer is qualified and Gas Safe registered as this confirms that they are legally permitted to install your boiler. To check the qualifications and registration status of an engineer, ask to view their ID card or use the search options at the Gas Safe Register website. Alternatively, you can take advantage of our free online service to get no-obligation quotes from respected companies and Gas Safe installers.
