Built using Biasi’s tried and tested technology, the Riva Plus System ERP is an affordable heat only system boiler that is suitable for homes with a heating system that includes a hot water storage cylinder.
As the boiler does not require separate tanks in the loft, it’s also a great option if you have little or no loft space. It measures 803mm (H) x 400mm (W) x 350mm (D) and is available in outputs of 25kW and 28kW.
The Biasi Riva Plus System is priced between £450.00 and £480.00 before installation and comes with a standard 2-year parts and labour warranty. If the boiler is installed and registered by the 30th September 2018, you’ll receive a free 5-year warranty upgrade.
Although a budget boiler, this model is energy efficient and includes a high-efficiency heat exchanger. The appliance is economical to run and has been given an 89% efficiency rating, making it a SEDBUK B rated boiler. Plus, the Riva Plus System is a condensing boiler, which means it is much more energy efficient than older boiler models and will work hard to help you save energy and money on your fuel bills.
Biasi’s Riva Plus System has some good features, such as built-in frost protection to help protect the boiler on those freezing cold days of the year. It also has an anti-seize routine, which is designed to stop the components from seizing up when the boiler is inactive for long periods.
The unit itself is easy to operate and manage thanks to the simple knobs and controls, and there’s even a visible pressure gauge to allow you to always see the boiler pressure. If you need the boiler to run on LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) rather than natural gas, an LPG conversion kit is available as well.
As the range includes two different output options, this model is suitable for some small, medium and large-sized homes. We can’t, however, tell you which output you’ll require without assessing your home and your typical heating and hot water usage habits. This means you will need to ask a Gas Safe engineer to look at your property to help you figure out the best solution for your needs. As a general rule, the higher output unit is ideal for bigger homes where demand is greater and the smaller of the two will suit properties with smaller heating and hot water requirements.

It’s clear that Biasi has really put a lot of thought into making this model and has come up with something that makes life easy for both the engineer and the end user. The quad processor technology is a particularly nice feature as it allows the boiler to continue to work whenever a fault arises, so you won’t have to worry about it shutting down.
We also really like the fact that the boiler alerts you when a fault is identified because some boiler-related problems often go unnoticed as they aren’t easily detected by the untrained eye. It also helps your engineer to immediately know what is wrong with the appliance, meaning they can get on with fixing the issue straight away.
Overall, we think the Advance Plus System ERP is a great system boiler that delivers reliable and efficient performance through intelligent features and technologies.

Is this boiler still available M296.28SM/C. I’d like to replace my old M296.28SM/C with a new M296.28SM/C. Could you advise on a quote for purchase and install?
